Anticipating future housing development in the area, the house’s square plan was rotated 45 degrees to expand views and garden space. In order to reduce time and cost of construction, certain materials were entrusted with two functions. The corrugated steel acts as spanning beams and also as a roof, and the OSB sheets provide shear strength as well as interior finishing.
