This boathouse, sheltering a historically significant canal boat, is made of a triangular-lattice paper tube grid-shell structure, covered with polycarbonate panels. In order to facilitate permission and approval of this structure in France, as with the “Paper Temporary Studio”, paper tubes with the same dimensions as used for the “Japan Pavilion Expo 2000 Hannover” were adopted.
