Adjacent to the site is a landmark reinforced concrete building designed by the renowned Canadian architect Arthur Erickson. To create harmony between the two structures, we extended Erickson’s terrace at the same height as his building. Above that, we placed a six-story wooden triangular volume, designed with consideration for the impact of shadow impact, creating a contrasting yet complementary composition.
