There is a day care center, a hospital and traditional homes near the site. Since the size of the gymnasium would be too large in comparison to its surroundings, everything below the roof was built underground. To further develop the Magewappa of the “Imai Hospital Daycare Center” (2001), instead of LVL, LSL was used to develop an elliptical dome roof. The short span formed a pentagon truss arch that were organized radially, and the long span were vertically projected Vierendeel arches running parallel which formed the lattice.
