By making factory built modularized furniture units (closets and bookshelves) that are 90cm wide and 2.4m high that can bear the structural vertical and lateral loads, it becomes a prefab system that is completely free of onsite carpentry work for walls and columns. The units come with insulation and exterior finishes pre-assembled in the factory. Finally, all that is required is to anchor the units to the foundations and to connect them together by lag screws, thereby greatly shortening the construction period.
