The Long Thanh International Airport will be Vietnam’s iconic portal to the world and this terminal will represent the future of ecological airport terminal construction. This is the world’s largest bamboo structure using glue laminated bamboo. The design is a combination of innovative architectural and engineering solutions fused with optimized airport functionality. Bamboo is the most suitable material for this project, because it is not only a sustainable highly renewable natural material, bamboo also holds a strong connection for the people of Vietnam.
