Most of the warehouses and galleries in the Chelsea area of New York become a district of shuttered facades at night, and this brought about the idea to cover the entire facade with metal shutters. A perforated metal shutter was used for security and to create shade. On the inside of this, there are horizontal bifold glass doors, which create a double height living space that connects to the terrace.
