The main intention for the design of the Picture Window House was to frame the panoramic view while maintaining the flow of the mountain to the sea. The whole upper story works as a truss spanning 20 meters, creating a completely open and columnless space below. The 20m x 2.5m “picture window” gives an unobstructed view to the ocean.
