Nemunoki Children’s Art Museum

The main design focus for this children’s art museum was to create an ideal facility made of a material familiar to children, where they could exhibit their art work in purely natural light. The triangular roof is made of paperhoneycomb arranged as equilateral triangles, connected by only three different simple joints. The paper structure is covered with corrugated plastic, which is then finished with a PVC membrane, allowing natural light to uniformly penetrate through the whole structure.
