This temporary pavilion was designed for the Garage Center art gallery in Gorky Park, Moscow, Russia. 6m tall paper tubes were produced locally, in order to meet the requirements for a low-cost 2,000㎡ space with a short construction period. A simple rectangular museum box was designed in the heart of an elliptical space, allowing for various types of exhibitions to take place. The space in between the paper tube wall and the museum is utilized as a reception, café, bookshop, cloak room and offices.
