This project is a timber adaptation of the steel-frame tent system originally developed to support relief efforts following the 2022 Tonga volcanic eruption.
Each unit measures 2.2 meters square, and the overall size can be adjusted by connecting multiple units using corner joints.
In normal times, the system can be used for event spaces, glamping facilities, and other outdoor activities. In times of disaster, it can be deployed as an outdoor partition system in evacuation-center grounds or in the yards of individual homes, providing flexible temporary spaces.
