Pavilion de l’Ile Seguin – Centre de l’Art Contemporain

In the West of Paris on Isle Seguin on the Seine is the location of the old manufacturing plant of Renault the largest European automobile manufacturer where re-use planning is currently in progress. This project is actually a temporary exhibition space to make use of the unused land until the redevelopment construction actually begins. The duration of the project is expected to be two to three years. On the facade, there are stacked transport containers behind a row of paper tube columns. The exhibition space is organized around a large central courtyard, and a second row of paper tube columns inscribing an arc acts as the enclosing exterior wall.
