Proposed Stadium will exist as an extension of the surrounding landscape. It will become a place of recreation as a public park and open space. The new stadium will be formed with a lightweight double layered grid shell structure. An operable screen system installed within each unitized grid, the dome does not require the movement of any structural elements. Compared to typical openable roofs requiring massive rigid frames, this proposal achieves a 1/3 reduction of steel and also CO2 emissions.
