This is a competition entry for the Mobility Pavilion for the Dubai Expo, 2020. A big roof inspired by Ghaf trees protects the plaza and its activities from the direct sunlight. The sustainable micro climate allows for outdoor activities during the summer. Pavilions placed under the roof are built with local sand and a major part of the exhibition is located in the basement. The building was planned to be converted to a school after the expo is finished.
