This temporary architecture was built as an homage to the artist, Paul Cezanne, in commemoration of the Cezanne in Provence festival in 2006 on a site at the Vaserly Foundation with a panoramic view of Mont Sainte-Victoire. 8m in height and 16m in diameter at the crown, this umbrella form was created from a self-supporting paper tube structure. From beneath the membrane covered canopy and amongst the trees and nature, one can enjoy the great views of Mont Sainte-Victoire.
