Organized by the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the exhibition containing furniture and glass works of Alvar Aalto was designed in the style of Aalto. Due to budgetary limitations and the temporary nature of the exhibition, recycled paper tubes were adopted as an alternative to wood. Here began the exploration into “Paper Architecture”.
