This is a multi-functional building combining a railroad station building with a town’s public facilities. From the train, the interior of the station and the plaza is visible, and at the same time, it is possible to see the trains arriving to the station from anywhere within the building. Due to the limited construction period and restrictions of the cost, pile construction was avoided and in its place, PC piles were used as structure to create a colonnade and to support the laminated timber roof.
