Located between two bodies of water, the Corniche Gallery is envisioned as a connection and extension of the sea with the buildings sculpturally placed in the landscape. The whole site becomes a serene pond filled with the local sea water. The entrance is marked by the Ghaf Canopy, a tall iconic roof structure that shades the lobby building and connects to the galleries. The three gallery buildings are independently enclosed structures that can be floated and moved. Galleries have the flexibility to adjust size, and orientation and can be subdivided for three separate exhibitions or become one large show.
