The theme for this project was to explore how the extraordinary mountain scenery can be seen from the site. The overall structural composition is a round core containing the wet spaces, the bedroom in a square core, and from a cantilevering slab jutting out from the sloped hillside, the panoramic view was achieved. To heighten the effect of the view, a concrete block wall running parallel to the street hid the view, and only upon entry into the living space, the expansive view could be experienced for the first time.
