As part of the emergency response to the Venezuela earthquake that struck on June 24, 2026, our local partner, Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB), is leading preparations for the introduction of the Paper Partition System (PPS) for evacuation shelters.
A prototype of the PPS using locally produced paper tubes has been completed. Moving forward, preparations will continue for its installation in evacuation shelters while working closely with relevant organizations to facilitate the deployment of the PPS.
