For this glass artist’s atelier, an off-the-shelf steel angle shelf system was employed as the main structural system that is easy to assemble. The height of the ceiling and the depth of the room correspond to the module of the steel L-angles. By developing steel plates that attach to the angles, a more complex structure became possible, and even the frame structure of the roof was able to be constructed by simply tightening bolts.
