For a UAE National Day event taken place on December 2, we built two Paper Log Houses: Arabic Coffee House and Japanese Tea House.
The two houses will be relocated to Wajima City on the Noto Peninsula, a city yet to recover from the devastating earthquake on January 1, 2024. Thanks to a generous donation from the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Tokyo, one house will serve as a temporary hair salon, while the other will be used as a temporary studio for Wajima lacquerware production.
