Inherently a three-story row-house complex, the Hanegi Forest succeeded in preserving every existing tree on the site. To ensure that the floors remained rigid even with openings to bring in light to the ground level, an equilateral triangle structural grid was conceived. The pilotis of the first floor open space give the impression of walking in a forest, while the mirror glass of the entrance stairwells minimizes its existence while multiplying the image of the forest.
