This is a museum for Historical and Cultural Exchange Center that introduces Oka Castle and Tanomura Chikuden, and a Community Center that is being developed simultaneously, in the center of town, in the hopes to promote foot traffic throughout town. The exhibition functions of the Historical and Cultural Exchange Center are contained in a gallery tube on the second floor, and a curved timber roof is draped on top of this. From the end of the gallery tube, AR technology is introduced to show Oka Castle regenerated in the view in the landscape. The Community Center is planned as a semi-outdoor space with only a timber roof, and a paper tube pavilion is set within up to accommodate various uses.
