坂茂建築設計＋ボランタリー・アーキテクツ・ネットワークでは、このたびの豪雨災害への支援として、紙の避難所用間仕切りシステムの提供を開始します。
この間仕切りシステムは、紙管と布で誰でも簡単に組み立てられるもので、カーテン布の開閉により避難所でもプライバシーを確保することができます。2011年の東日本大震災では、50ヶ所の避難所に約1800ユニット（1ユニット＝2m x 2m）、2016年の熊本地震では37ヶ所の避難所に約2000ユニットの間仕切りシステムを提供しました。

Voluntary Architects’ Network (VAN) and Shigeru Ban Architects will provide Paper Partition System as a relief to support for flooding in western Japan.
Assembled with paper tubes and canvas curtains, the partition system provides privacy to those affected.
We provided 1800 units (1 unit is 2m x 2m) in 50 evacuation centers after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, and 2000 units in 37 evacuation centers after Kumamoto Earthquake in 2016.
