Zen Wellness Seinei Receives Wood Design Award

 Zen Wellness Seinei received Forestry Agency Director-General’s Award for Excellence in the “Wood Design Award 2022 jointly applied by Pasona Group, Nice Corporation, and Maeda Corporation,.

The facility opened in April 2022 as a place where visitors can experience a Zen meditation retreat in the great nature of Awaji Island.

The Wood Design Award is a system for soliciting, evaluating, and recognizing outstanding architectural spaces, products, activities, systems, and research, with the aim of reconstructing the qualities and value of wood through the power of design.

 「ウッドデザイン賞2022」において、㈱パソナグループ、ナイス㈱、前田建設工業㈱との4社で共同申請した「禅坊靖寧」が、優秀賞である林野庁長官賞を受賞いたしました。

同施設は2022年4月に、淡路島の大自然の中で座禅リトリートが体験できる場としてオープンしました。

ウッドデザイン賞は、木の良さや価値を、デザインの力で再構築することを目的として、優れた建築空間や製品、活動や仕組み、研究等を募集・評価し、表彰する制度です。
