The forest park pavilion is a multipurpose picnic pavilion located in a clearing within this historic park. The structural module is a group of four bamboo boards that are overlapped in a spiraling pin-wheel connection, where different orientations of the overlap result in a change in curvature. This arrangement of pin-wheel connections creates a pattern of large and small squares and forms a concave or convex geometry resulting in a grid shell structure.
